As part of the new emphasis on experts dialogue, iKNOW Politics will hold a workshop in Oslo from November 4-5 2008, hosted by the UNDP Oslo Governance Centre. The workshop will include six thematic panel discussions and a round-table discussion. The themes of the discussions will be following:
- Financing Women in Politics
- How Civil Society Can Help Women Overcome Barriers
- Work-life Balance for Women in Politics
- The Role of Political Parties
- Women and Informal Political Networking
- Lessons Learned on Overcoming Barriers– The Norwegian Experience.
